The source list favours the International Maritime Organization, European maritime agencies, UN Trade and Development, official legal texts, statistical tables and dated first-party histories. Each source is used for a defined question, not as a badge of authority.

A source page can change. The editorial record therefore keeps the edition, access date and the smallest useful reference. Archived material is treated as evidence of what was published at a date, not as proof of present ownership or continuity.
